Riverkeeper Film Screening and Panel Discussion
Newburgh Brewing Company

Join us at the Newburgh Brewing Company for a special film screening and panel discussion about the Hudson Valley’s water and learn how Riverkeeper is working to protect it.

Tuesday, March 5, 2019
5:30 - 9:00 pm
Newburgh Brewing Company
88 South Colden St, Newburgh, NY 12550

Riverkeeper is proud to present two new films from National Geographic filmmaker Jon Bowermaster: Source to Sea explores how Riverkeeper’s Water Quality Program answers the question “How’s the water?”; and Undamming the Hudson River focuses on Riverkeeper’s efforts to restore natural habitat by eliminating obsolete dams throughout the Hudson River Estuary.

Nowhere is this work more relevant than Newburgh and we invite the community to attend this free event to learn about the issues affecting your waterways and drinking water. The films will be followed by a panel discussion with experts from Riverkeeper as well as local leaders who have been fighting for clean water in and around Newburgh.

Stay to ask questions, meet other water lovers, have a beer and enjoy light refreshments on us (cash bar). Support Riverkeeper by making a $10 donation at the door and receive a Riverkeeper Koozie!

Panel:
John Gebhard – Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance
George Jackman, PhD – Habitat Restoration Manager, Riverkeeper
